     Bootleg BarBQ is run the old fashioned way - built from the ground up, and run by the two owners.  They don't sit back and let the employees do all the work - they are there - answering your calls, taking your orders, cooking, catering, driving, cleaning, repairing whatever needs repairs at anytime.

     They run their business like a family, everyone has a job to do and is always welcome, both to do their work and to offer input and suggestions.  While upward mobility isn't really an option, everyone gets the chance to see the various sides of restaurant, catering, and of course greeting the customers!

Who will you see at Bootleg BarBQ?  On the average weekend, you will see it rather crowded.  Poker runs often end (or begin) at the Bardstown Road restaurant.  Families stop by for picnic baskets on the way to the lake.  Couples grab a bite while while traveling, some stop and eat at the few tables - either inside or out, while others carry food to destinations states away.

Where will we cater?  Anywhere you go!  Catering events have been held at the lake, in parks, family backyards, in businesses, and reception halls.  Anywhere you go Bootleg BarBQ can cater a meal for you and your guests.

What events do we cater?  Bootleg BarBQ caters any event.  No event is too large or too small.  We have catered Birthdays, Family Reunions, Office Parties, Mardis Gras Parties, Weddings, Graduations, and many others.

How have reviewers rated us?  Our record speaks volumes.  The Courier Journal voted us the best barbecue, ribs, and wings in the area.  While many reviewers will be quick to warn you - order ahead for wings or holiday turkeys and hams, it's a simple reminder - good food made the old fashioned way takes time and can't be rushed.  With the owners there every step of the way you can be sure the food will be excellent!
